Well I had to have a post on "Prince of Kolkata" as that was the least that I could do for this great legend. I never felt sad about Kumble's retirement. But when Ganguly started walking for the last time to take guard in the international arena , an instinct made me realize that I am going to miss something that I had been enjoying for the past 10 yrs in my life. Who could forget the act of him taking off his shirt at the Home of Cricket and defending the same when questioned by the English media. He was most aggressive captain India has ever had who taught what it takes to win tests abroad. Statistics has its own part to play boasting of his success, but it is his personality that made him unique.
Few of his great achievements:
Led India to World Cup Finals in 2003
Demoralised Srilankan bowlers including Vaas and Muralidharan at Taunton
Led India to Natwest Trophy at Lords
Led India to a Test match victory after a long time in West Indies
Broke Australians continous streak of victory in tests at Kolkata and many more not to forget that he started as captain after the match fixing scandal. To come out with flying colours after such an instance is a great achievement as everyone would agree. We will miss you towering sixes for sure.

Just Voice
1st Knot - Themselves
2nd Knot - Relatives
3rd Knot - Society
The meaning for the 3 knots that we tie around the girl on our wedding, according to some commercial for a Jewellery shop which I came across while watching Saroja in Sathyam Cinemas. What made me remember the ad was not the colourful saree the model wore, not the jewels that she had,not the music which was impressive and not even the Model herself who was gorgeous, but just the voice.People trying to make any guesses can stop now.It was none other than the voice which you have heard number of times saying
" En Iniya Tamil Makkalae
Ungal paasathirkuriya ???????? "
He has such majestic voice that he was able to score more than anything and anybody else in the commercial just with his few words. Really Impressive... !

Nuptial Knot
I tried to find the exact word for the 3 knots that we tie around a girl's neck on the day of wedding. As a common practice these days, I took the help of Google for that. There was not an exact word. The closest one was "Nuptial Knot”. This had its origin from the middle Ages and was lost in between and now has revived itself. The logic is they tie some kind of a knot not necessarily around girl's neck. Hmm... only now I remember the Nuptial pads in the male frog used to hold female frog during copulation period. Every word has a very deep meaning. You know what I mean... :)
Well this is not what I intended to write. I was more interested in writing about the right age for a guy or a girl to get into the wedlock. Both are ready in physical aspects at the age of say 17 or even much earlier these days due to different diets. It was at this age, people got married couple of centuries back. But in the competitive world that we are in,it is not a wise idea to marry at 18. You would be a joker to all if you do that ... :) The factors influencing apart from the physical ones are Emotional, Mental and Financial aspects. Emotional and the Mental aspects are different things and pertain to the maturity level of an individual. Few possess them at the age of 20 and few others at 24 and few not until 30.These aspects have to be met by anyone for them to marry.
We have narrowed down to one which is the most important one and is being debated about for quiet sometime by everyone and each have their own perception. The interesting part is that the perception changes from time to time for the same person.... :) I remember my friend saying that he will get married once he is well settled for which he will take 9 yrs making him 31 and will then look for a girl who is 23. It was too hilarious for us to hear to him though I was also thinking in similar lines then. To me settling down was to own a 3 bed-room flats, a luxury car, few basic amenities for the house and a moderate bank balance to meet any emergency. Well my thoughts have changed considerably now.
Coming into professional life I was able to meet few people who were in early thirties and still not married. I say people as it includes women also. May be they are pursuing their career to such an extent that they find no time for romance or maybe they have had few love failures.Whatever be the reason, I am sure they are missing a hell lot in life. I have seen all these people laughing and enjoying life like anything. But it is only in their faces and not from their heart. I really pity these people and I hope I don’t turn into to one of them.
Be it a love or an arranged one, I guess people should get married at least by 27 or in a worst case scenario by 29 no matter what financial status they are in. You can always achieve what you want in life with your partner. They could give a shoulder when you feel low. Family is not a hurdle in anyways. In fact I have even seen girls rejecting offers they get saying that guy is very well settled and “I don’t want to be the last piece of his life's Jig-Saw puzzle". They were interested in facing the life together with their better halves. I was astonished to see people like this, when most of them prefer a guy with a green card ready to sponsor her MS in USA. It is really shame on them. Well I am not being jealous just becuase I cant get one to sponsor me......:) I would have appreciated these people if they had the guts to do their MS after college on their own. Well I am not offending anyone here, it is just what I feel.
PS: Having said all these, find a perfect better half before you get into the thought of marriage. Well that’s an irony.... :)

Saroja
Hail Venkat Prabhu
I made it a point that I should not write any Movie reviews in my Blog after writing a few. But after watching this movie I didn't find anything wrong in breaking the Jinx.It is such a wonderful movie that Venkat Prabhu has made creating or should I say inventing a new genre "Comedy Thriller". Venkat has narrated a serious thriller movie in a hilarious and he is bloody lucky to get away with that :)
Talking about the movie, It has no story and resembles most of the Hollywood flicks where few teenage people gets stuck in a remote place on journey and the outcome of that incident is the climax. This movie is no different. But what has made the movie a great success. There are lot of reason for that, Yuvan youthful music Premji's mannerisms and comedy and Shiva's timing dialogues which makes us laugh still our stomach hurts and very good performance from veterans Prakash Raj and Jeyaram. But there is one thing which stands out and that's the screenplay by Venkat and that overrides everything else.He is one with no prior experience as a Assitant director but has still managed to give 2 Master Pieces. It is purely because of his hunger for sucess.
And Nikita was hot, sexy, gorgeous. Her moves were too good,so was her curves.I am really impressed with this guy Venkat Prabhu. I am sure he will scale great heights and we are lucky to have him in the industry.
Girls stop reading reading now. Guys did you notice that Kalyani leaves Sampath but not his friend.... :) Subtle way of telling Friendship lasts longer than Love.

Why no Blogs... ????
Trip to Kandipatti
Saroja Review
Universal Constant
Destiny Part - 2
For people wondering what these crap are, the answer is simple. These are few blogs which took shape in my mind and even before I could pen them down just vanished from my mind. I find it difficult to even think about them now. This made me remember the proverb A stitch in time saves nine.I know sounds too old but carries lot of meaning. In other words "Never postpone what you can do today".
I have been having this weakness with me right from my childhood. Well it is not laziness I am talking about. It is Complacency. I have been complacent throughout life and that has taunted me in many ways. Well almost in all ways. I was pretty happy scoring somewhere in 80s till my 11th grade and 75 in college. This has continued even in my professional life too.... :( I have been doing only the work given to me all the while and that has earned me nothing so far. May be if I become one AARVA KOLARU I might scale great heights... :) I have to first put this into practice from tomorrow. As you all know "A stitch in time saves Nine".... :) But will complacency hit again is a question to be answered. I was serious in life only for a year in these 23 years and I am riding my life with what I did that year so far. No points for the answer. I should bring back the same passion I had that year back again...!
No matter what happens I am sure I am going to pen down all the blogs at the least that I had mentioned earlier.

Those 5 things .... ????
What does a human need to live?
1.Food to eat
2.Place to stay
3.Dress to wear
Well this is one question everybody would have answered at some point of time in life to score 2 marks..... :) Now that we have grown up.The question differs a little bit.
What does a human need to live Happily....????
.
.
.
.
.
The answer to this question is not that straight as it was to the previous one.It has been 24 years,2 months,24 days since I came into this world.I have had my share of failures and success in my life, both personal and academic. And very recently professional life has also come into picture and I have had both good times and bad times still learning to adapt myself to this complex life.Though insufficient,I assume that I have enough experience to answer this question. Here it goes
1. Peace
2. Love
3. Health
4. Respect
5. Money
I hope I have answered the question right though it's just my perception of life. The irony here is that I would have had money in first place had I answered the same couple of years ago...... :)
Guys don't expect me to give a answer as to what changed my order in the past 2 years..... :)
