Unnlae Unnale

I was never in a mood to pen down my views on the movie. But, reading documents for a long time made me boring and now i have decided to write what I feel about the movie " Unnalae Unnalae ".

Let me start with the music. All songs were fabulous and it is a great treat for music lovers. Harris Jayaraj has done a wonderful job for this romantic movie with some great tunes. "Unnalae Unnale Vin Aazha Chendrae" was an awesome composition with lyrics to its added advantage. "Vaikasi Nilavae" was to my liking when compared to other songs. But, not have this opinion they would rather prefer the former.

Cinematography: It was too good and that's not a wonder as the man behind the camera was none other than the director Jeeva himslef. He has done the job that he does always and the movie is a visual treat to watch.

Casting:
Hero : I still don't know his name and i didn't want to :-) He was smart but, was lacking experience. He was not expressive throughout the movie which was very important for a romantic movie.Neither was he good in dancing though he didn't have much of that to do in the movie.

Sadha : She was gorgeous. She was too good in the early part of the movie and in the song sequences. But the look she had when the story moved to Australia was not appealing. She has done justice to her role I would say.

Tanisha : She was bubbly and was so apt for the character. Perfect choice form the director. She was good looking too.

Others : Other poeple in the movie play nth fiddle doesn't cause any drift to the flow of the movie. The Entire movie revolves around only three people.

Story Line : Story is simple. A triangular love story as everyone would guess seeing the cast and in the Climax one is left alone. The change here is that person chooses to be alone rather than being abandonded by the hero as in other movies.

Direction and Screenplay : Both were not to my liking. Movie after interval was bit boring and the attempt to make it lively by including some comedy has gone for a toss.Other than that Jeeva has done a decent job. Dialogues were very normal and nothing was special about it.

My View : The concept of the movie was too good and I really liked that a lot. "Love someone for what they are". But I personally feel that sadha's chracter could have been portrayed in a much better way. The reasons for her getting angry with the hero and fighting with him seems to be too correct for me. You can never expect a girl to love you knowing that u flirt a lot and do all sort of non-sense with some other girls. That is too much to ask for, from a girl. If the reasons had been sillier than they were , then it would have made more sense to the screenplay.

On the Whole it is a good romantic movie ( Rare genere these days.....) to watch atleast once. You can enjoy the movie just for the Music and Cinematography.

Pre-marital Sex

Pre-marital Sex, Is it right or wrong?

I am pretty sure that we will never have a unanimous opinion on this and debating will go on and on if we are to have one, with conflicting perceptions from various corners of the society. I have been pondering over to write about this topic for almost 2 yrs back but refrained from doing so as many who read my blog is from the orthodox Tamil society and a very few will appreciate my views. Well I am ready to break the shackles now, but only for a few and you are one among them.... :)  This is the only reason for my new blog space.

Pre-marital sex is perfectly right an act and I don't see anything wrong in it. People with a different view can stop here, continuing is only going to irritate and frustrate you ... :) The term by itself has gained popularity only in the recent times and there were not many instances of the same being talked about a couple of decades back. At the same time none can deny its existence right from the day mankind came into existence, but it is more prevalent these days than it was in the past. Everything has a reason in the world except love, so does the increase in the pre-marital affairs. There are few factors leading to it and the average age of getting into marriage is a vital factor of all. The average age of people getting into marriage have been increasing steadily over years and we can see people marrying in their late twenties or early thirties which was an age to have couple of children going to school for our previous generation. The next factor would be the age at which we attain physical maturity which has been decreasing on contrary to the previous factor. And when I say physical maturity I mean the readiness of the people to explore their sexual capabilities. I am not sure if physical maturity is the right term for it…. ! ! !  To my knowledge many girls attained puberty during their 12th standard or after that a generation back, but it is not a rare sight to see a girl attaining puberty when she is in her 6th std or even below in few cases these days. The major blaming for this goes to the kind of diet we have and it is still in research I believe. But for some reason it has come down over years. And the last according to me would be lack of exposure to sex education and that has not improved till date. I don’t see a drastic improvement even in the near future.

Considering all these factors it’s natural for someone to indulge in pre-marital affairs and you can’t blame them for it. Had they married earlier they would have had a passage to meet their biological needs and pre-marital affairs is something they would have never given a thought about. People today go through a tremendous pressure in their academic and professional life than the ones from the previous generation and pre-marital affairs help them to relax a bit from all these pressures. It also helps them to explore their sexual side and even decide what kind of a girl or guy they like before marriage to some extent but one should also be aware that life is not just about sex.. J After having said all these this theory holds good both sexes and generally our society doesn’t mind what a guy does before marriage and act differently when it comes to a girl. That’s totally unfair, if a guy wants to have an pre-marital affair then he should be more than ready to accept a wife who is not a virgin… J That’s a bitter pill for him to take but the girl had done the same for him too. And when it comes to extra-marital affairs people have I see that to be cheating and I am still not able to see the right side of it. Many have argued it is just because of the fact they have ended up with a wrong partner. I need to explore on that side of relationships a little more before I can comment anything on that …. J

Disclaimer: This is just my personal opinion and has got nothing to do with my personal life :)

My New Bike....!

Hi Everybody, it has been quite long time since I had my fingers working for my Blog.Project has kept me busy making me work even in weekends sometimes.Fine that's life and we have to cope up with that.

Coming to the new bike that I have got for myself is really doing great. Of course my Dad paid for that and that's the coolest part of it. He promised a bike if I get 1100+ in 12th standard board exams and only now he has fulfilled it. I have been waiting for that for very long time almost for 10 yrs. And now I feel so happy owning a bike for myself. Many people complained about me paying some extra bucks to get the number that wanted to have. But I just wanted to have the number i wanted and got it for some extra bucks.

TN 22
AU 4949 Easy to remember....! Isn't it...!

Now, How has that changed my life.....! Hmm.....quite a lot. I come to office as I wish since I am no longer bound to follow the Bus Timings.Getting up as late as 9 or as early as 5:30 and reaching office whenever i feel like.It has kept me busy even in the weekends. These days I don't give a second thought about freaking around and I have roamed a lot that the Meter reading stands at 1900kms after a month and few days.It has also brought down my expenses for Auto which kept climbing when I didn't have a bike. On the whole I am feeling totally independent now about my transport.....

Most Blissful Period in Life...!

Caution : This one is a long post. Take a coffee even before you read this post.

" Students, The most enjoyable period in your life is the one that you spend here in the school. I am sure you will never realize this now. And by the time you realize it you would be already out of it. “This was the statement that one of my teachers used to make quite often. It's really true, personally I feel that to be the best time of my life so far and will be even after years. And I thank god that I realized what she said when I was doing my 8th standard. Though late it was not too late.

I have always had hatred towards being Nostalgic as that makes me very sad reminding me the good times I had in the past which I miss very badly these days. Though my mind knows that life keeps changing but my heart still longs for those cherishable moments of my life. Though it makes me sad it also brings in a little smile into my face when I think about those days. Here I am getting into the past trying to bring in a smile into my face. Hope this takes you to your childhood as well.

I can remember those days when I used to sit in front of the bike on the Petrol tank with my Dad riding the bike with Mom in the pillion and I used to keep pressing the horn for no reasons. Of course I was so tiny those days to fit in the tank and not as huge as I am now. Days when I used to sweat like hell playing after the school days with my neighbors and attend Karate classes and I have to hear from my Mom for spoiling the clothes.Being in the strict family watching TV is not that easy you know. I and my sisters used to run to the TV once my parents were out and watch those stupid programmes that were relayed those days in Doordarshan. I keep laughing when I think about those idiotic movies and stuffs that we watched with risk of being caught by my parents. I even used to peep through the gap in a Double leaf door to get a glance of the score that my Dad is watching in the other room without anyone’s knowledge. I used to be mad about cricket those days to such an extent that my Dad asked me to watch the Semi-Final between Sri-Lanka and India in the Eden Gardens telling me "You are not going to study even if ask you to today and you will keep thinking about the match so it is better if u watch and then study, so that u will be able to concentrate on what u do then". I have been caught twice for peeping and you can imagine the scolding that I got from my Dad for that, thankfully my Dad never used to beat me and he only scolds me for all the mischief that I have done so far.

Well thinking about the mischief that we have done in my School life the list kept growing like a Great Wall of China. The list includes all kind of Mal practices in the Exam Hall , flicking others Lunch ( Including teachers ) , Flicking Question Papers from the office room , Playing Hide and Seek during the Night Studies in the School , Baiting everyone including Female staffs, fighting over silliest issuesetc.... One of the Staff complained to My Dad and I will never forget that day for obvious reasons.Days when we used to go to School with uncompleted homeworks and standing out of the class and the canning that we used to get from our PT MASTER for coming late and for violating the dress code are still something that I miss badly. And not to forget the way we use to sight the girls even the seniors and some staffs and those A jokes , 3rd rated language that we learnt and numerous other stuffs so early.

And the list goes on. All I can do now is sit and relish those Lovely moments. Some might be so stupid and childish but still brings happiness to the heart. And when one asks what’s wrong seeing your blank face all you do is smile and say "NOTHING" I have gone through both the Positive and the Negative side of the life during this period.I thank god that I haven’t missed the most Blissful period of life being a studious person.
