Just 5 Words

Learning
Dependency
Patience
Diplomacy
Fun.......

Well my entire on site trip of 81 days can just be described by the above words. It was good with lot of learnings both professionally and personally and also earnings.....:) It was the first time I had to get along with people of different ages rather generation personally, and that was the toughest part for me.Though I was in hostel to get along with different generation was taking its toll. Well I managed somehow. Apart from that commutation was one hell of a problem in Onsite and u had to be dependent on someone always for that.I hated that like anything but had no choice.

Apart from these the stay was fun.Working out of the client site was different.I am obviously not going to bore telling about the office here.We had fun going to clubs. Don't ask what kind of clubs... :) Went for a trip to Niagara which was mind blowing and I am short of words to express the beauty of the falls.New York was much hyped to me.I didn't like the place apart from Brooklyn Bridge and Night life which we didnt get to experience. The one good thing about the city is the subway facilities.Another good thing about USA is that u find all kinds of restaurants. I myself have become a very good cook. really :) Even with so many options I was just longing for Mom's food..... :) I don't know why .... ??? I never had this feeling so far in my life though I was living away from home for the past 7 years. Overall the trip was enriching with lots of experience both good and bad.

Terminal...!

This has been a place everyone dreams of going. I had been here couple of times to send off my friends one to Australia and other to England.I was longing to go abroad for a long time. Finally got a call from TM saying you need to travel in 2 days. It was a surprise though I had anticipated. These people are very good in crisis management than situation management... :) I started my imagination over the entire trip from starting from first time flight to place i wanted to visit there in USA and so on.I remember reading an essay back in 9th Standard titled "My First Experience in Flight " . That was a narrative essay where a small girl narrates her experience right from packing to getting down the flight. It has been almost 10 years since I read that... :) Now I am penning down my own version of the same.

Well I was not that lucky to get a girl like Zeta Jones as Tom Hanks did, even had I got I am not that talented to go speak to her... :) Back to the blog, the terminal in chennai was itself a mini India. You can just get the feel of diversity prevailing in India. There were different kind of people.Few with their beautiful suits flying on a business trip, few going on a religious trip, few others dreaming about their holiday plans in some far of country, few returning to their home country ,couple of them for a honey moon trip and many others like me traveling at company's cost trying enjoy US life. Not to forget the Air Hostess.Vijay Mallaya is great.People know why I make this statement here.....:)

Of all these people there was this bunch of guys dressed in rugged clothes with a small bag in hand. They had an odd look for an International terminal. Their face depicted both happiness and fear. It was tough for me to comprehend their body language. They were having a sound sleep after the security check when all others were waiting for their flight to come. Then came the call, " All passengers for Quatar please board Flight XXX at Gate X. All these guys started moving towards the gate with anxiety in their face. Then I realized what that face of happiness and fear meant. They were leaving all their happiness here and were going abroad just for their loved ones to be happy here not sure of what waits for them. All they are concerned at the moment was happiness for their loved ones.It is a wonderful sacrifice to make and I salute them.

It was great to see these people, than many who had the necessary things for life but still go abroad just to earn money. Well the pathetic fact was I am one among the later.... :) Well I do accept that "Money is the most important factor in life" but that should never be at the cost of a relationship.Never it should be at the cost of a relationship. These days I recall a my friends mom saying, " Onna irundhu Kangi kudichalum santhosham irukkum". I am able to understand that but I am still not able to accept it..... :)

Guys are Always Guys....!

So Girls we are like this.....It is all in Birth. Blame god and not us when u find us doing naughty things the next time.... :)

U Me aur Hum

It is just a brilliant movie except for the songs and casting. The story was a sensible one.I have not watched an emotional drama with such intensity in my life. I don't think there is one to come in future also. Had it been SRK in place of Ajay Devgan it would have been a perfect film altogether. I say this not because I like SRK but because of the fact that he would have done a great justice to the role.It was pathetic to see Ajay do those romantic sequences. He is better doing action movies rather than the romantic ones. It is really unfortunate that Ajay did this movie. But still I appreciate his attempt in making such a beautiful piece of work.

I really wonder if one can love someone more than themselves....??? I don't have an answer yet and I am confused about this. Only Mothers can do that. They are the only soul to love their child more than themselves. When it comes to love between individuals i don't think this will happen. But if this is to happen then "someone" is the most luckiest person in the world.

People with a reasonable Maturity will find the movie making sense... :) My suggestion would be to watch it once with your better half holding their hands. At least I would prefer it that way. I would just love that... :)

Now it is up to you to decide whether to watch this one or not.

Women's Freedom

Here is an interesting topic to look at "Womens' Freedom". I have never heard anyone talk about "Mens' Freedom". It sounded little strange right from my childhood why various leaders and social reformers fight for women and not men.Well I did hate women then. But as I myself grew up as a Male Chauvinist in the society I started realizing the necessity to fight for such noble cause.

It took a while for me to get rid of the Male Chauvinism in me and I am still trying to eradicate the same completely. It takes time for a guy to realize the importance of women in ones life having been brought up in a male dominant society.I am not sure if i will overcome my basic character in my lifetime... :( Many say that the women now have their freedom looking at Indira Noooyi , Jayalalitha and few other achievers not to forget Kiran Bedi. Well I am proud of what they have achieved, leave alone the adverse effects they have brought to the society and cheers to them.

But let me stop and think for a while, hmmm....Is that the fact ...????? Of course not.

Many people boast about women's freedom in media. But the fact is that, they are way behind from enjoying the real freedom. Many are not given the right to choose their careers.Well leave alone the career they are not even given a chance to voice their opinions in choosing their better half. This is ridiculous to me but thats the fact and people live with it. For poeple raising their eye-brows to say no , you have to go down south to check the groung truths.

Even many of my loved ones never had a choice but to marry the ones chosen by their dad, neither did they have the courage to speak against as they were brought up in such a manner. Same is the case even now. I have seen few families accepting love marriage for guys and not for girl.I have no clue as to what logic they use for this kind of a decision making.Few even have gone to the level of beating them like hell when they confessed about their love for someone. The pathetic thing is even the mothers are like this.People saying "NO CHANCE" please try to interact with people from southern part of Tamilnadu.

I should not forget the one who are kind enough to listen to their girls opinion and give her full freedom. But the former outnumbers the later :(...... So please try to treat your girl child as you treat your guys.I am just asking to try. I am not a social reformer, just yet another guy trying to build a conducive environment for the future generation...:) It is just a suggestion. It is up to you people to realize whats right and put that into practice.

Easy Vs Kastam

Easy - Break a relationship and get along with life. ( This is the Easiest thing to do )

Kastam - Sustain the differences in a relationship.

Well this has been most wanted saying these days....All I have seen in my life is only break ups for various reasons....:) People involved in them may not have a broad smile as I do now. The reason why I smile is at the end of the blog.I have seen the pains people go through to overcome a break up.They might smile and laugh and have fun , but I bet they are hiding something beneath their heart.

How does one feel like when they are ditched......Well thats not a million dollar question. The Answer is pretty simple

Frustrated
Irritated
Anger
Depressed
Cheated
Let down
Disappointed
Perplexed
Baffled and even Petrified in few cases.....
Well the funny thing here is that they still Love them with each and every broken piece of their heart.Unbelievable but thats the bitter fact....Now you know why I smiled.

Folks don't search for a conclusion here, search them in your Heart or Mind which ever you use to take a decision.

PS: I haven't had a love failure in my life so far So this blog is in no way connected to my life...:)
