Facts about me - 3rd Tag

Finally I have come back to Blog.Well Nirmal tagged me months ago and it is only now that I have found time update my Blog. Here we go.

Fact 1: (Unbelievable)
I am a soft guy contrary to my looks and many can appreciate the phrase "Appearances are Deceptive" when they get along with me.

Fact 2: (Common)
I am an obsessive eater and many of my friends and even my peers in the office knew this. And I drool over anything which Vegetarians avoid. You know what I mean.....:-)

Fact 3: (Good)
I am a very good listener. So when you are sad I am always there so that u can lean on shoulders. On contrary I never share any of my worries with anyone. Not even with my loved ones.

Fact 4:( Really ...!)
I just love hearing to Romantic Melodies and I love hearing to only Romantic Melodies. Peppy songs are never my choice when it comes to music.

Fact 5: (Worst)
This fact is a bad one which I am trying to change. I never forget anyone who has done harm to me even after years and I always wait for a chance to vent my anger on them. And the worst thing is I do that the Chanakyan way.

Shivaji

As anyone could guess this blog is about Shivaji – The Boss. I am not a fan of Rajnikanth. But, still the charisma that this man has, forced me to write down a blog for him. It has really been a hard wait for the people to see Rajini in the silver screen with his usaul way of acting after Padayappa. Though Chandramukhi turned out to be a massive hit, it lacked the usual elements that a superstar movie generally has and I didn't like that movie. So it has been a long wait for me too to see him in the silver screen doing his heroic stuffs.

I have made it a practice to watch all Rajini movies on the first day after Baba, not because I like him, but to enjoy the festive mood his fans bring shouting and screaming every time he appears on the screen. It is also because of the proud feeling that I get saying that I have watched “Rajini’s” movie on the first day. Sounds silly , yeah I know but that's really a special feeling though many might disagree with me.Nevermind I am least bothered about that now.

I have been using all my tricks to get tickets for this movie. Thanks to SHE1 for getting me 4 tickets through her company. I was disappointed in getting tickets through corporate booking. That was because I had a notion that these people from software will not bring the festive mood as others do for Superstar movies. But I was proved totally wrong when I got into the theatre and the atmosphere was very much the same as I had experienced before for other Rajini movies. They were shouting even before the Title card flashed and it continued for another 3 hours. It was fun on the whole watching the KING on the Silver screen after a long time.

Now coming to movie as such. I am not going to break the plot here so people can go ahead reading. First, accolades to the Cinematographer and the Art Director. They both have done a wonderful job throughout the movie and especially in the songs. The quality of the picture gives us a notion that sufficient amount has been spent for the cameras used in filming and it is a visual treat to watch. The palace set for the song "Vaaji Vaaji" and the glass house set for "Sahana Saaral" was too good. These two sets are just an example of how they have spent for the movie.

Next is the music by A.R Rahman. He has done an awesome job and I am in search of adjectives to laud this music genius. He has done a great job with his back ground score as well which is very essential for Rajini movies. The BGM when our star walks, delivers a dialogue all are done to perfection. The Master of music has done his part to the fullest.

The heroine Shriya, wow.............. fabulous, Stunning, Awesome, Amazing, Wonderful, Superb, Excellent what else, I am speechless..... And people don't even think that I am describing the way she has acted in the movie. It is just her looks in the movie. Costumes chosen for her suited her aptly that it never had a degree of vulgarity, and It would have caused a stir among many if some other actress had used the same. God she was that good in the movie and I can still see her hips moving in the songs.I am damn sure that I will go another time for the movie just for Shriya. The first outfit that she uses in the " Vaaji Vaaji " song is stunning. Well , watching only that everyone will agree to what I have stated above. Last but not the least she is Mind Blowing.....Etc.

It's time to talk about the bigshots of the movie Mr. Shankar and Mr.Rajinikanth. Right from the first frame to the end of the movie it is completely a Rajinikanth's movie tailored by Shankar with his elements throughout. The first night sequence is one such example of Shankar's element in the movie. I still wonder how he comes up with something new in all of his movies for the society. This time he is playing around the Black Economy which is very much prevalent in the country and has used it effectively. He has made sure that there is some hilarious moments till the end. The vivek comedy in the hotel " Start Camera Action" when Rajinikanth is very upset , and the transition from Shivaji to MGR are some examples. Though he has blundered in the first half of the movie he stands up tall in the second half and has met all the expectations of Rajinikanth fans. In particular the last 20 minutes of the movie is stunning and has made everyone to say wow looking at Rajini in that sequence. He could have avoided the car stunt in the drive inn theatre and the repetition of the Matrix style stunts in the movie. Not to mention the "Athiradee" song, guess Shanker got inspired from the movie DESPARADO for this song.Apart from that he has done his job.

Rajinikanth...............See him for yourself.......Mere Words is never enough to describe the kind of magnetism that Rajinikanth possess....He is only one who can have such Magnestism to attract junta towards him........

PS : As I had already told in the blog , I have watched the movie for the 2nd time in Innox just for Shriya. One line to describe my experience in INNOX "Right Movie at Right Theatre With Wrong Crowd".....They were too calm for us to enjoy the movie....It is like Englishmen watching cricket just clapping for odd scenes....That's not the way to watch his movie.

Rajnikanth doesn't deserve to be worshipped as god , nor does he deserve "Pal Abhishekam" or animal sacrifice as many do. These acts are totally insane. But he completely deserves all those claps , whistling and screaming when he comes in the silver screen.....
I have now become an ardent fan of Rajinikanth....:-) Thalaivaa please do another movie.....

Unnlae Unnale

I was never in a mood to pen down my views on the movie. But, reading documents for a long time made me boring and now i have decided to write what I feel about the movie " Unnalae Unnalae ".

Let me start with the music. All songs were fabulous and it is a great treat for music lovers. Harris Jayaraj has done a wonderful job for this romantic movie with some great tunes. "Unnalae Unnale Vin Aazha Chendrae" was an awesome composition with lyrics to its added advantage. "Vaikasi Nilavae" was to my liking when compared to other songs. But, not have this opinion they would rather prefer the former.

Cinematography: It was too good and that's not a wonder as the man behind the camera was none other than the director Jeeva himslef. He has done the job that he does always and the movie is a visual treat to watch.

Casting:
Hero : I still don't know his name and i didn't want to :-) He was smart but, was lacking experience. He was not expressive throughout the movie which was very important for a romantic movie.Neither was he good in dancing though he didn't have much of that to do in the movie.

Sadha : She was gorgeous. She was too good in the early part of the movie and in the song sequences. But the look she had when the story moved to Australia was not appealing. She has done justice to her role I would say.

Tanisha : She was bubbly and was so apt for the character. Perfect choice form the director. She was good looking too.

Others : Other poeple in the movie play nth fiddle doesn't cause any drift to the flow of the movie. The Entire movie revolves around only three people.

Story Line : Story is simple. A triangular love story as everyone would guess seeing the cast and in the Climax one is left alone. The change here is that person chooses to be alone rather than being abandonded by the hero as in other movies.

Direction and Screenplay : Both were not to my liking. Movie after interval was bit boring and the attempt to make it lively by including some comedy has gone for a toss.Other than that Jeeva has done a decent job. Dialogues were very normal and nothing was special about it.

My View : The concept of the movie was too good and I really liked that a lot. "Love someone for what they are". But I personally feel that sadha's chracter could have been portrayed in a much better way. The reasons for her getting angry with the hero and fighting with him seems to be too correct for me. You can never expect a girl to love you knowing that u flirt a lot and do all sort of non-sense with some other girls. That is too much to ask for, from a girl. If the reasons had been sillier than they were , then it would have made more sense to the screenplay.

On the Whole it is a good romantic movie ( Rare genere these days.....) to watch atleast once. You can enjoy the movie just for the Music and Cinematography.

Pre-marital Sex

Pre-marital Sex, Is it right or wrong?

I am pretty sure that we will never have a unanimous opinion on this and debating will go on and on if we are to have one, with conflicting perceptions from various corners of the society. I have been pondering over to write about this topic for almost 2 yrs back but refrained from doing so as many who read my blog is from the orthodox Tamil society and a very few will appreciate my views. Well I am ready to break the shackles now, but only for a few and you are one among them.... :)  This is the only reason for my new blog space.

Pre-marital sex is perfectly right an act and I don't see anything wrong in it. People with a different view can stop here, continuing is only going to irritate and frustrate you ... :) The term by itself has gained popularity only in the recent times and there were not many instances of the same being talked about a couple of decades back. At the same time none can deny its existence right from the day mankind came into existence, but it is more prevalent these days than it was in the past. Everything has a reason in the world except love, so does the increase in the pre-marital affairs. There are few factors leading to it and the average age of getting into marriage is a vital factor of all. The average age of people getting into marriage have been increasing steadily over years and we can see people marrying in their late twenties or early thirties which was an age to have couple of children going to school for our previous generation. The next factor would be the age at which we attain physical maturity which has been decreasing on contrary to the previous factor. And when I say physical maturity I mean the readiness of the people to explore their sexual capabilities. I am not sure if physical maturity is the right term for it…. ! ! !  To my knowledge many girls attained puberty during their 12th standard or after that a generation back, but it is not a rare sight to see a girl attaining puberty when she is in her 6th std or even below in few cases these days. The major blaming for this goes to the kind of diet we have and it is still in research I believe. But for some reason it has come down over years. And the last according to me would be lack of exposure to sex education and that has not improved till date. I don’t see a drastic improvement even in the near future.

Considering all these factors it’s natural for someone to indulge in pre-marital affairs and you can’t blame them for it. Had they married earlier they would have had a passage to meet their biological needs and pre-marital affairs is something they would have never given a thought about. People today go through a tremendous pressure in their academic and professional life than the ones from the previous generation and pre-marital affairs help them to relax a bit from all these pressures. It also helps them to explore their sexual side and even decide what kind of a girl or guy they like before marriage to some extent but one should also be aware that life is not just about sex.. J After having said all these this theory holds good both sexes and generally our society doesn’t mind what a guy does before marriage and act differently when it comes to a girl. That’s totally unfair, if a guy wants to have an pre-marital affair then he should be more than ready to accept a wife who is not a virgin… J That’s a bitter pill for him to take but the girl had done the same for him too. And when it comes to extra-marital affairs people have I see that to be cheating and I am still not able to see the right side of it. Many have argued it is just because of the fact they have ended up with a wrong partner. I need to explore on that side of relationships a little more before I can comment anything on that …. J

Disclaimer: This is just my personal opinion and has got nothing to do with my personal life :)

My New Bike....!

Hi Everybody, it has been quite long time since I had my fingers working for my Blog.Project has kept me busy making me work even in weekends sometimes.Fine that's life and we have to cope up with that.

Coming to the new bike that I have got for myself is really doing great. Of course my Dad paid for that and that's the coolest part of it. He promised a bike if I get 1100+ in 12th standard board exams and only now he has fulfilled it. I have been waiting for that for very long time almost for 10 yrs. And now I feel so happy owning a bike for myself. Many people complained about me paying some extra bucks to get the number that wanted to have. But I just wanted to have the number i wanted and got it for some extra bucks.

TN 22
AU 4949 Easy to remember....! Isn't it...!

Now, How has that changed my life.....! Hmm.....quite a lot. I come to office as I wish since I am no longer bound to follow the Bus Timings.Getting up as late as 9 or as early as 5:30 and reaching office whenever i feel like.It has kept me busy even in the weekends. These days I don't give a second thought about freaking around and I have roamed a lot that the Meter reading stands at 1900kms after a month and few days.It has also brought down my expenses for Auto which kept climbing when I didn't have a bike. On the whole I am feeling totally independent now about my transport.....
